AHA BLS curriculum

Hands-on AHA Basic Life Support coursework, the CPR and airway skills that anchor EMT training. Taught from day one and included in your tuition; there’s no separate class to enroll in.

The Forge — on-site training gym
+$300

The Forge is Guardian's own training gym, in the same building as your classroom. Two tracks: CPAT prep for students headed into the fire service, and strength and conditioning for everyone else. Included with Soaring Eagle and Mother Eagle. On the Eagle package it's a $300 add-on, which is exactly the price gap between Eagle and Soaring Eagle, so most students simply take the middle package. See The Forge →

EMS boots & pants

Tactical EMS pants and boots from Guardian's preferred supplier. Sized to you. Yours to keep and wear on shift after graduation.

Online testing platform

Access to Guardian's online practice exam platform; NREMT-style questions, scored and reviewable. Use it through the program and during NREMT prep.

Career advancement package

Job placement support, resume review, mock interviews, and introductions to Guardian's network of fire departments, hospital systems, and private EMS agencies hiring in Utah.

Fingerprinting

BCI-compliant fingerprinting required for Utah EMS licensure and many employer background checks. Done on-site through Guardian's partner.
