Questions Before You Enroll

FAQ

12 weeks. Most Utah competitors run 4–6 week accelerated programs that compress 160 hours of instruction into an unreasonable timeline. We don't, because clinical confidence isn't built that way. The longer schedule is the point.
No prior medical experience is required for EMT Basic, CPR, or BLS. Advanced EMT requires an active EMT-Basic certification. ACLS and PALS require an active BLS card and a healthcare provider role.
Guardian EMT graduates consistently sit well above the national NREMT pass rate average. Current pass rates are published on our EMT FAQ page and updated every class.
Yes. Both EMT Basic and Advanced EMT run day and evening classes. Most certification courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS) are run on weekends to accommodate working clinicians.
Guardian EMT offers payment plans, employer-sponsored enrollment, and qualifies for several workforce-development grants. See our Financial Aid page for current options.
Post-grad advocacy is one of our six pillars. We help with NREMT exam scheduling, Utah state licensure paperwork, and direct introductions to hiring agencies: ambulance services, fire departments, and hospitals across the Wasatch Front.
